So what’s my Health and Fitness Philosophy?
I had a Prof in college that used to say there were pearls of wisdom he was going to tell us about. That’s how I view health and fitness. There are pearls everywhere!
Yes there are pillars of health and fitness namely The Big 4: Drinking, Smoking, Exercise & Diet. Beyond that, it’s a world of fitness pearls.
In regards to trainers, practitioners and researchers, everybody also has a toolbox of things they’re good at. One person may be an expert in shoulders, another will really know a lot about knees. Some folks are Gurus of movement and others know how to manipulate tissue really effectively.
It’s both your and my job to seek these folks out and find out the pearls they offer us.
I’ll never stop looking and nor should you for there are always new pearls being discovered each and every day.
It takes a little digging but you’ll spot them if you look carefully.
